So excited to be working in the studio today! I love fabric a little too much, I think. I made an adorable messenger style book bag for my youngest daughter as a birthday present. It felt like it took forever because I was designing as I went. (I'm not real big on using patterns...makes me feel like I'm tangled up in paper and can't get out!)
Anyway, I re-measured and copied it for my niece for Christmas and it was a huge hit! My sister called to tell me how much they loved it. So, after hearing that and the constant comments my darling daughter gets about her bag, I figured it was definitely worth pursuing in the studio as a regular item.
I'm also working on some cute stuffed owls inspired by my older daughter, who squeals over anything slightly owl-related. Which is pretty funny coming from an 18 year old, but at least she knows what she likes. ;o)
I'll post some pictures later...Oooo, fabric...here I come!!
